Requirements for re-entry are different per country
In most cases a negative PCR test result, no older than 24 hours is sufficient for re-entry.
The 24 hours are measured between the time the test was taken and the time you board the aircraft/take the ferry; NOT the time of the result as specified on the travel certificate and the time you board the aircraft.
In case the time exceeds 24 hours you need an additional Antigen test with a negative result that again is no older than 24 hours.
Please check which tests/certificates are needed for the country you are travelling to using the information stated below.
Based on our current information (August 8th, 2021):
As of August 8th, 2021 either of the following options is required for re-entry to the Netherlands:
A. Proof of vaccination or proof of Recovery
B. A Negative COVID-19 test result.
This applies to everyone aged 12 or over.
- a negative NAAT (PCR) test result conducted up to 48 hours before boarding or
- a negative antigen test result conducted up to 24 hours before boarding.

Our certificates are provided by our Medical advisor and meet the requirements stated by the Spanish authorities. Test Corona Direct can not guarantee that a certificate allows access to board the plane/ferry or that it allows access to the country of your destination; as that is up to the local authorities.
To answer this question it is important to understand:
1. Taking the swab at our office takes at maximum 15 minutes
2. All PCR tests are collected until we need to deliver the tests to the PCR Laboratory in Alicante where the tests is analyzed.
We do not diagnose the swabs at our office.
3. PCR Tests are delivered to the laboratory Monday until Friday at 1:30 pm Saturday at 1 pm. No delivery on Sunday.
This includes the test from the previous day(s) and the test from today until 1 pm.
The PCR result and the certificate is available at the day of delivery at 6pm. You should receive the certificate ultimately at 7 pm.
At the office all tests conducted are kept in cooled places and in specific boxes. They are also transported in these cooled boxes.
The PCR laboratory processes these PCR tests as soon as possible. We are one of many requesting PCR tests to be analyzed.
We can not change the arrangements with the Laboratory, nor can we request them to prioritize a specific test.
The Laboratory tests the swabs with a cycle threshold (CT) between 35 and 40 to minimize false positives.
Planning your PCR test properly:
a) We recommend to only schedule a PCR test if really needed. In most countries a Antigen test is sufficient. Performing an Antigen test is a matter of 15-30 minutes and yields faster result and also in most cases a valid travel certificate. Check the information available from your government to check the minimum requirements.
b) Schedule a PCR test allowing the PCR Lab sufficient time to analyze the swab and to create the certificate. Do not schedule a test when you have less than 12 hours before boarding time. We can not guarantee you will get a certificate in time and will not conduct the test, but offer a Antigen test instead.
b) If you need a PCR test, most often you require a certificate that indicates a negative result for a test performed less than 48-72 hours before boarding time. In principle all our test we perform, even for test on Saturday after 1pm or on Sunday will deliver a certificate with the 72 hours time frame. Test on Saturday after 1:30pm e.g. will get a certificate at latest Monday 18:00 (52 hours).
In case you need a PCR certificate with a time less than 48 hours plan it the day before departure in the morning or early afternoon, but before 1pm.
Do not not plan a test on Saturday after 1 pm or on Sunday if you can choose a different time. Only use these timings when you do not bother that you will have to wait longer before you receive the travel certificate.

Antigen detection thus closes a diagnostic gap. The nucleocapsid protein (N) is ideal for virus detection as it is highly abundant in the virus and sufficiently specific for SARS-CoV-2. It is one of the 4 major structural proteins and is involved in replication, transcription and packaging of the viral genome.

We have no possibility to send/record your test result to a Corona Check app on your mobile.
The outcome of the test is communicated by email (both negative/positive). In case of a negative PCR or Antigen test a PDF with the travel certificate will be made available by means of a download link.
You are advised to download the PDF as soon as possible onto your mobile/tablet or PC. At the airport you can either present a printed version of the certificate or present the digital copy on your mobile/tablet.

If you are not able to use any of the payment methods listed above, you can choose to pay at our location using debit card or cash.
If you pay using cash, we ask you to bring the exact amount as we have only limited change available at our location.
In case you need to cancel your test please send us an email at (firstname.lastname@example.org) as soon as possible.
Test Corona Direct will fully refund payments made for appointments that are canceled at least 8 hours before the scheduled appointment time. Appointments that are cancelled within 8 hours of the scheduled appointment time will not be refunded.
Refund payments will be made to the bank account that made the initial payment.
Refund payments can be expected within 2-4 days after we have confirmed the cancellation.
